If you plan to visit Rome, you can rest assured that the Passpartout hotel will offer convenient, clean, safe, friendly accommodations in an excellent location. It has all the modern appointments, fancy lighting controls, esthetically pleasing, and functional room décor, and good Wi-Fi. The hotel is on a street that comes to life starting at around 10:00am and goes until late at night with no less than 15 restaurants putting out their tables and awnings (no cars allowed on the street). And Passpartout has its own restaurant, seating its customers indoors, outdoors with the other restaurants, and also in its secluded back patio. I can honestly say that the staff at Hotel Passpartout was the best in my travels to five cities in Italy. Marco, the manager, greeted me with sincere warmth and said “C’mon, we have to share a welcome espresso...!” even though it was fairly late in the evening when I arrived. And with a bit of enthusiastic flare and panache he deftly whipped up two espressos. Each morning Martina served me with a custom made cappuccino made with love, enthusiasm and an obvious zest and pride for her work. She pretty much had my cappuccino waiting for me when I came down for breakfast, and within seconds instructed the chef to whip up my eggs, remembering after only one day how I liked them. I felt almost uncomfortably too pampered. And how could I forget Ciara at the front reception? Ciara was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions with ebullience, patience, enthusiasm and alacrity. She is a native of Rome, and each day she enthusiastically give me insights and suggestions for everything. Every recommendation she made turned out to be perfect. There are oh so many of these boutique hotels in Rome. Nonetheless, given the friendly, accommodating staff, I would go back again in a minute. I truly felt welcomed and appreciated.

The hotel is the best: great location,  2 mins from Vatican, but very quiet. Decorated with great taste. Very clean,  spotless, very well maintained. The entire team in the hotel and in the restaurant made our stay very special.  Thank you, Dominico, for very welcoming check in and greetings on my birthday, going above and beyond to host our friends too, for staying late for late check in, making sure we are not hungry and have everything we need even when restaurant is closed... it was unforgettable vacation for us, and biggest part of it is the hotel - we felt we are very welcome, we felt that hotel's and restaurant's team DO care about us!!! Amazing people! They made the experience very special. And food! It was great! We tried it all: breakfast, coffee,  dinner, wines, and spirits! Great selection and great atmosphere after busy stroll in city center. Garden is so quiet and relaxing. Great background music too. I wish to the entire team wonderful visitors in the future, because your, guys, deserve it! You are an amazing team! I will definetely stay there again. And I will bring my friends too.

Everything was perfect during our 4 days stay at Passpartout. The rooms are spotless, the design is very nice, the furniture is new, the breakfast is very good, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is right next to the Vatican, you can walk to places such as the Pantheon and Trevi. Also close to the Ottaviano metro station. Borgo Pio street, where the hotel is located, is very beautiful, lively until late hours and there are many cafes and restaurants. If we go to Rome again in the future, we will definitely stay at Passpartout. Finally, we would like to thank especially DiMarco at the reception, Maria at the restaurant and Aura at the room and cleaning service.

The staff bent over backwards to make sure we had a perfect stay. It was my mother’s birthday and they had baked her a special cake and sang to her at breakfast. The place was extremely clean, wonderfully updated, excellent location. Excellent drinks and snacks at the restaurant. One of the best dinners we had in Rome as well. Breakfast was fresh, tasted and high quality. Eggs cooked to order along with any kind of specialty coffee. Dominico, Marco, Giacomo and the rest of the staff were so kind and endearing. We took photos together to remember the fond memories. The terraza in the private top floor suite is great. Highly highly recommend this property.

We loved everything. Very charming and helpful staff, perfect location in a pedestrian area, restaurants everywhere, nice area with shops in 5 min. walking distance, Vatican in 5 min. walking distance, next to a Vespa rental place (Buzz), next to a pharmacy, less than 10 min walk to bus station to airport Ciampino (Via Crescendo 19). To the Colosseum it's about 3 km and very walkable, to Piazza Navona perhaps a 20 min walk. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are small but very nice and modern, waterboiler in room, breakfast very nice (although no fruit), coffee individually made for each guest.
